What was your career path at EBV Finance?
I joined EBV Finance with the belief that my previous work experience would be of benefit to the company. I was also looking for a challenge, of which I found plenty.
I was tasked with learning about another country’s payment process. I had to understand and contribute to the tasks. The question naturally arose as to how I saw the process and how I could improve it. These questions led me to the position of Team Lead, and I now have the goal of sharing my experience with my team so that we can develop more efficient processes in the future.
What is important for leaders?
A leader is a person who encourages others to achieve more. It is the presence, the confidence, the certainty that inspires others.
What helps you overcome the challenges?
When faced with a challenge, I think: “I can do this”. Then, plans and actions come together very naturally, and the challenge seems easy to overcome.
The ideas found in the book and the success stories I have heard awaken my inner desire to improve. I would describe continuous learning as the ability to be a better version of yourself.
What does “continuous learning” mean to you?
I would describe the continuous improvement as an ability to be a better version of yourself. In the payments team, we have different tasks, and each team member contributes to the team’s overall victory with their individual work. I think this is very important.
What do you do when you are not working?
I start every morning with exercise because it helps me get ready for the day. After work, I stay active. Sport has been with me since I was a child and I think it helps me achieve my goals at work.
